Do I want to know the sex at 17 weeks gestation with an u / s?

My dr has my next U / S scheduled on 17 weeks I had some people tell me that they could find out that early. I just wanted to get views on everyone. Thanks for any thoughts. I'm so excited, I hope the baby together, so they say!
