Why did I keep breaking out in hives? I’m no longer pregnant.?

For the short 5-7 weeks I was pregnant, I had random hives. When I told the nurse about them, she said that it is possible to have pregnancy hives. Well unfortunately, my pregnancy ended up an ectopic pregnancy which ended in having to have my left fallopian tube removed. Well it’s going on two weeks ago and I’m still having these hives. What is up?
